Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had meetings with leaders of India, Australia, Russia, Bangladesh and organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank (WB).

At the meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the two Prime Ministers agreed to promote cooperation in various fields, especially new ones such as digital transformation, energy transformation, green and sustainable economic development. In particular, they will continue to strengthen defense and security cooperation - a pillar of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

In particular, the leaders of Vietnam and India also agreed to assign the aviation authorities of the two countries to study the expansion of licensing for each other's airlines to increase the frequency of direct flights between major cities. The Indian Prime Minister affirmed to encourage large Indian corporations to increase investment in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of September 7, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Australian Prime Minister affirmed that he attaches great importance to strengthening relations with Vietnam. He also expressed his wish to welcome General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to visit soon. At the same time, he suggested that the two sides complete exchanges and internal procedures to soon announce the upgrading of bilateral relations with Vietnam to the level of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership at the appropriate time.

At the meeting on the same afternoon, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov affirmed the importance of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. They wished to continue developing relations in all aspects, especially continuing to increase delegation exchanges at all levels and promoting cooperation in all fields. The two sides exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual concern, expressing their desire to continue contributing to maintaining peace, cooperation and development in Southeast Asia, Europe and the world.

Receiving WB President Ajay Banga, the Prime Minister highly appreciated the WB's support for Vietnam in socio-economic development, especially in poverty reduction, gender equality, development support for remote areas, and agricultural development. At the same time, he asked the WB to continue accompanying Vietnam in the development process. In particular, it will prioritize supporting Vietnam in terms of capital and experience in four areas: infrastructure development and logistics capacity; energy conversion, green energy development, renewable energy; supporting the Mekong Delta in preventing subsidence, landslides, flooding and agricultural development; promoting innovation and digital transformation.

Meeting with Bangladeshi President Mohammed Shahabuddin, the two leaders agreed to increase the exchange of high-level delegations, and coordinate to prepare well for the upcoming visit to Bangladesh by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue . At the same time, they discussed establishing direct flights and facilitating visas to expand tourism cooperation. The Bangladeshi President assessed that trade and investment cooperation between the two countries is developing impressively. Two-way trade turnover has increased four times in 10 years. He also encouraged Vietnamese enterprises to be interested in investing in Bangladesh; this country will create conditions for Vietnam to expand the export of its key products.
