Poland A Cessna 208 crashed into a hangar near the capital Warsaw, killing five people and injuring eight.
The accident occurred on July 17 at the airport near the village of Chrcynno, located about 45 km northwest of the capital Warsaw, when the Cessna 208 crashed into a hangar where 13 people were taking shelter from a storm.
Polish officials said five people died in the crash, including the pilot of the Cessna 208 and four people who had taken shelter from the storm in the hangar. Among the eight injured was a child.

Katarzyna Urbanowska, a spokeswoman for the local fire service, said search and rescue teams were combing the scene for more victims. Prosecutors and police are investigating the cause of the accident.
The airfield near the village of Chrcynno is a popular location for parachute training, and the Cessna 208 that crashed was modified for such activities. It is the worst accident involving parachuting in Poland since 2014, when a plane crashed near the city of Czestochowa, killing 11 people.
The Cessna 208 Caravan is a multi-purpose aircraft manufactured by the American company Cessna, with about 3,000 produced, often used for flight training, passenger transport and humanitarian missions. The aircraft has a crew of one or two, can carry 9-13 passengers, has a maximum speed of 344 km/h and a range of 1,980 km.
