On International Children's Day June 1, medical units and philanthropists organized meaningful programs, bringing joy and happiness to many sick children.
At the Provincial Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, the program “Happy Children’s Day 1/6” organized by the Hospital Youth Union brought moments filled with joy and laughter to the child patients. The children participated in many exciting activities such as: singing, dancing, playing games, singing and breaking the festival cake.
Together with charitable organizations and philanthropists, the Board of Directors of the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital also presented 265 gifts to pediatric patients, of which 35 special gifts were reserved for children in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses.
Also on the occasion of Children's Day, organizations and unions of the Provincial General Hospital coordinated with benefactors, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam in Lao Cai (BIDV), and the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam in Lao Cai (Vietcombank) to present 70 gifts, with a total value of over 24 million VND to child patients.
In addition, on this occasion, Lao Cai Hair Club organized free haircuts; Tung Muong Restaurant (Lao Cai city) donated 150 free nutritious porridge portions to patients' families.
Not only provincial hospitals, but also district hospitals, children are also cared for. The Social Work Team of Bao Yen District General Hospital and benefactors gave 29 gifts and 180 porridges to children. 60 children being treated in departments and rooms of Muong Khuong District General Hospital also received meaningful gifts.
The gifts and practical activities that hospitals, charity organizations and philanthropists brought on International Children's Day June 1st showed their care and love for sick children; helping them have more joy and motivation to overcome illness and soon recover and return to their families.
