Ahead of the match against Everton on Sunday (November 26), Man Utd received bad news when Mason Mount suffered a calf injury. The information was confirmed by coach Ten Hag at a press conference.

The Dutch coach said: "Mason has a problem so we have to assess whether he can participate in the match or not." According to the British press, with this injury, Mount will be out for a month.
That means Mount will definitely miss the match against Everton. Not only that, the English player will also miss the big match against his old team Chelsea on December 7.
Mount was sidelined for 37 days with an injury at the start of the season (from August 19 to September 25) and missed six Man Utd games. Now he is set to be sidelined for another month during a crucial period for the club.
Many Man Utd fans are fed up with the £60 million contract. This season, the midfielder born in 1999 has only played 12 matches for Man Utd in all competitions and has played very poorly.
Elsewhere, Man Utd received good news as goalkeeper Andre Onana will be fit enough to face Everton. Left-back Luke Shaw has returned to training and is likely to play in this match. Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund still needs to be assessed for injury to know whether he can play or not.

During the press conference, coach Ten Hag was asked about Varane's benching in recent matches. Speaking about this issue, the Dutch coach said: "It was a tactical decision. Varane also understands this and he is professional. Varane always tries to meet my very high requirements at Man Utd.
However, according to Daily Mail journalist Sami Mokbel, coach Ten Hag and Varane may have conflicting views. The French midfielder's class is much higher than the Red Devils' current defenders. Some sources confirm that Varane will leave Man Utd in the winter transfer window.
The match between Man Utd and Everton takes place at 11:30 p.m. on November 26 at Goodison Park.
