On the same day, journalist Juan Pablo Romero of El Pais (Spain) also confirmed that Suarez had arrived in Miami and taken a photo with a fan named Gabriel there. He looked very comfortable and happy under the scrutiny of the American and Spanish press.
Suarez left Gremio after the Serie A season (Brazil) ended in mid-December. Here, the 36-year-old striker played a total of 53 matches, scored 26 goals and had 17 assists.
