At the meeting, the brigade commander reported to the delegation on the results of the implementation of the tasks in the first 7 months of 2023. Accordingly, since the beginning of the year, officers and soldiers of Brigade 972 have strictly followed the assigned transportation orders, built accurate plans, prepared well the forces and means, organized the implementation and completed 100% of the assigned transportation plans and tasks, ensuring absolute safety for people, vehicles and goods, including many tasks that were completed excellently.

Concluding the meeting, Major General Nguyen Hung Thang acknowledged and commended the achievements of the officers and soldiers of Brigade 972 in the past time. Regarding the tasks for the last months of the year and the following years, Major General Nguyen Hung Thang requested the Brigade to strictly implement discipline, especially maintaining strict command, duty, combat readiness, fire prevention, natural disaster prevention, and search and rescue.

Strengthen inspection and monitoring during peak times, ensure strictness, and be ready to mobilize to perform tasks when ordered. Be ready to receive and complete all regular and unexpected tasks as assigned by the Department of Transport.

The delegation of the General Department of Logistics and officers received the decision to increase officer salaries in July 2023 of the Brigade.

The Deputy Director and Chief of Staff of the General Department of Logistics noted that the unit must do a good job of managing the quantity and quality of motorbikes and boats according to the payroll; strictly implement the industry's regulations, maintain the technical coefficient of the vehicles. Perform well the work of preserving, maintaining, exploiting technical equipment of boats, and technical work regimes.

Ensure the correct and sufficient regimes, standards, quantities and quality of meals. Promote the work of increasing production and the operation of centralized processing stations, actively improve food processing to improve the quality of soldiers' lives, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary, typical".

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics, Major General Nguyen Hung Thang presented the decision to increase officer salaries in July 2023 to officers of Brigade 972.
