Speaking at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Manh Hung emphasized that throughout the journey of building, fighting and growing up of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, many works of music, literature, art, poetry, etc. have accompanied, added motivation, spiritual strength, encouraged and cheered generations of officers and soldiers of the Army's Logistics and Engineering to overcome all difficulties and hardships; to well implement the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho: "The supply work is as important as fighting the enemy at the front: Providing enough guns and ammunition, enough food and clothing for the troops, then the troops will win the battle...".

Major General Nguyen Manh Hung affirmed that in the glorious traditional history of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, there is an important contribution from the cultural and artistic front. Many literary and artistic works written about the Logistics and Engineering Corps are traditional songs that have stood the test of time, and are indispensable spiritual food for soldiers and people across the country. It is also a priceless asset that the current generation of officers and soldiers in the Logistics and Engineering sector are proud to inherit, preserve and promote.

To continue the flow of culture, literature and art and vividly reflect on the topic of the armed forces in general and the Logistics - Engineering sector in particular, the leaders and commanders of the General Department of Logistics - Engineering have initiated a campaign to compose songs and literary and artistic works with the theme "Logistics and Engineering troops continue to write the heroic epic".

The content of the songs, literary and artistic works about the traditions of the General Department of Supply, General Department of Logistics, General Department of Engineering and the Logistics and Engineering sectors through the nation's long-term resistance wars; the period of building and defending the Fatherland; in carrying out the task of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, modern army; associated with the solidarity between the army and the people, love for the homeland, country, compatriots and comrades; gratitude activities, remembering the source of water when drinking water of the Army's Logistics and Engineering agencies and units... Praising the heroic martyrs, heroes of the armed forces of the General Department of Supply, General Department of Logistics, General Department of Engineering; advanced examples, models, initiatives, new and creative ways of doing things in logistics and engineering assurance work at agencies and units...

Participants are officers, employees, students, soldiers, and workers in the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and agencies and units of the Logistics and Engineering sector of the entire army who are currently working or have retired. In particular, a large number of poets and musicians inside and outside the Army are mobilized to participate in composing.

The creative campaign period is from April 2025 to May 19, 2025. Organizing appraisal, award consideration; summarizing and awarding prizes for typical works in July 2025. The Organizing Committee considers and proposes the Head of the General Department of Logistics and Technology to award Certificates and bonuses to the winning works; in which the award structure includes 3 special prizes, 3 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 10 C prizes and 10 consolation prizes.
