National Day, go to Can Tho to watch 67 athletes compete in motorcycle racing

On the afternoon of August 27, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City held a press conference to inform about the national motorcycle racing tournament "Competition for the Caltex Havoline Cub Prix Cup" round 3 held in this city.

Motor sports races held in Can Tho attract a large audience.

The tournament is held to celebrate major holidays: 79 years of the August Revolution, National Day... at 1:15 p.m. on September 2 at Can Tho Stadium.

The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho in coordination with the Vietnam Bicycle - Motor Sports Federation and Phuoc Tram Phu Quoc Company Limited with the participation of 67 athletes from 40 clubs from 11 southern provinces and cities, competing in four categories: Professional category, 2-stroke, 125cc including 15 athletes;

The 150cc 4-stroke semi-professional class consists of 20 athletes. The 120cc 2-stroke amateur class consists of 16 athletes; the 110cc amateur class (newly added to this year's race) consists of 16 athletes.

Total prize money is over 125 million VND. Specifically, 125cc professional category: first prize 20 million VND, second prize 15 million VND, third prize 10 million VND, fourth prize 5 million VND.

For semi-professional and two amateur systems: first prize 10 million VND, second prize 7 million VND, third prize 5 million VND and fourth prize 3 million VND.
