The program was organized in person and online, with the participation of overseas Vietnamese from nearly 50 countries.
This is a cultural event of special significance, not only for the Vietnamese community living, studying, researching and working abroad, but also for international friends who love Vietnam.
This program has been maintained and organized annually by the Global Vietnam National Day Project Board according to a common scenario (from 2015 to present), aiming to create a common cultural day - connecting Vietnamese people around the world and international friends, building a solid cultural bridge of friendship, building sincere friendship between Vietnam and international friends.
The program of the Global Vietnamese Ancestral Day - Ancestor Commemoration Ceremony and Honoring the Descendants of the Hung Kings Globally 2024 will take place live in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation and be broadcast online on many social networking platforms and media channels for the public to follow, including the Fanpage of the Global Vietnamese Ancestral Day (https://www.facebook.com/quoctovietnamtoancau).
The program includes the following main activities: coordinating with the Vietnamese Community in Saint Petersburg and the Ho Chi Minh Institute, Saint Petersburg State University, Russian Federation to organize the key program in 2024 and burn incense to offer the Ancestor's Death Anniversary in the countries where the Project Board has installed the statue of the Hung King; coordinating with the Department of Foreign Information, the Vietnamese Community in Saint Petersburg to organize the Happy Vietnam photo exhibition in the Russian Federation; coordinating with the Berlin-Gesundbrunnen Academy of Music (Germany) to premiere the song Song of Peace; coordinating with organizations to introduce the Global Vietnam National Day Project at the Influential Vietnamese Forum in Paris (March 2024); in Poland (April 2024); in Rome, Italy (April 2024).
Continuing the success of 9 years of organization, this year, the Global Vietnamese National Ancestral Day Project continues to light up the spirit of compatriots, light up the flame of lac roi, light up the gratitude to ancestors - that is the national filial piety of the Vietnamese people! That national filial piety has created an indomitable spiritual strength passed down from generation to generation, helping the Vietnamese people always overcome all adversities, continue to build a solid cultural bridge, build sincere friendship, promote peaceful friendly relations between Vietnam and international friends, continue to spread together, position the cultural values and virtues of the Vietnamese people in the respect and honor of the values and virtues of other peoples/countries around the world.
