Ceremony to announce Xuan Phu commune meets new rural standards

On the morning of September 23, the People's Committee of Ea Kar district coordinated with the Party Committee and authorities of Xuan Phu commune to solemnly organize the ceremony to announce the commune meeting new rural standards.

Attending the event were comrade Le Van Nghia, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; comrade H'Yao Knul, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for National Target Programs; representatives of provincial departments and branches; leaders of Ea Kar district; and a large number of people in Xuan Phu commune.

Representative of Xuan Phu commune leader received the Certificate of recognition of meeting new rural standards from the Provincial People's Committee.

Xuan Phu commune has a natural area of ​​2,570 hectares, about 5 km from the district center. The whole commune has 1,582 households (with 6,353 people), including 11 ethnic groups living in 10 villages. Starting to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, the commune has only achieved 8/19 criteria. After 10 years of implementation, up to now, Xuan Phu commune has completed 19/19 criteria, the rural appearance has improved a lot, and people's lives have been improved.

Ea Kar district leaders presented a flower basket to congratulate Xuan Phu commune on achieving new rural standards.

The total budget for implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development in Xuan Phu Commune is nearly 167 billion VND, of which the people contributed more than 3.7 billion VND. Up to now, 100% of commune roads, village roads, and inter-village roads have been asphalted or concreted; nearly 99% of households use electricity regularly and safely; 100% of schools have facilities that meet the prescribed standards; 100% of villages and hamlets have cultural houses or places for cultural and sports activities to serve the community.

Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for National Target Programs H'Yao Knul awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals.

There are no more temporary or dilapidated houses in the commune; the poverty rate has decreased to 7.97%; the average income per capita has reached 46.5 million VND/year. The political system has been constantly consolidated and its overall strength has been promoted. Security and social order continue to be maintained and stabilized.

Ea Kar District Party Secretary Y Nhuan Byă and Ea Kar District People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Van Ha presented Certificates of Merit to the collectives.

At the ceremony, Xuan Phu commune was honored to receive a Certificate of recognition for meeting the new rural standards and a reward of 1 billion VND from the Provincial People's Committee. The Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 5 individuals; the District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Dak Lak joins hands to build new rural areas" for the period 2021 - 2025.
