Ha Tinh leaders visit and work with Dinan City

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha emphasized that Ha Tinh has a large number of overseas Vietnamese living in France, many of whom are famous, and have been a bridge to strengthen the relationship between the people and localities of the two countries.

During a working trip to UNESCO, attending the 42nd General Assembly session, on the morning of November 17, 2023 (local time), Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Truong Thanh Huyen and a delegation of Ha Tinh provincial officials visited and worked with Dinan city, French Republic.

Next, working with the Ha Tinh delegation were Ms. Joëlle Le Guiffant - Deputy Mayor of Dinan City; Ms. Stéphanie Meneux - Director of the Cultural Department of Dinan City; Mr. Loïc René Vilbert - Founding President of the Vietnam Côte d'Armor Association; Mr. Jacques Bourgain - President of the Vietnam Côte d'Armor Association.

Dinan is a city located on the westernmost peninsula of France, in the eastern part of the Côtes d'Armor department. The city has a long history and a unique heritage system, with medieval fortresses, squares, bell towers and cobblestone streets dating back hundreds of years. Many of the buildings here date back to the 14th - 16th centuries. Dina is also considered one of the most visited medieval sites in the Brittany region of France.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha introduced the potentials, advantages, socio-economic situation of Ha Tinh, major projects being implemented. Especially the cooperative relationship between the locality and countries around the world... about the Great Poet Nguyen Du and the Tale of Kieu, the Great Physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac, the cultural heritages of Ha Tinh honored by UNESCO...

Also in Dinan city, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Truong Thanh Huyen met with Mr. Loïc René Vilbert - Founding President of the Côte d'Armor Association of Vietnam and Mr. Jacques Bourgain - President of the Côte d'Armor Association of Vietnam to discuss and exchange a number of cooperation issues in the fields of health and culture.

Ha Tinh province delegation worked with the President of Cotes d'Armor Vietnam Association.

The Cotes d'Armor Vietnam Association is a decentralized organization between the Cotes d'Armor province and the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, established in 1994. In recent times, the Association has implemented a number of activities to support French language teaching, help the poor, and medical cooperation in the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
