The meaning of Michelin stars
One star: “High quality cooking, worth a stop!”, according to the current Michelin Guide. One Michelin star may be the lowest award, but only a very small percentage of restaurants worldwide get it.
Two Stars: “Excellent cooking, worth coming back for!” is a two-Michelin-starred restaurant. Two-starred restaurants always offer high-quality food and are owned by some of the best chefs with long reservation lists.
Three stars: “Outstanding cuisine, worth a special trip!” Three stars are awarded only to the best restaurants.
