The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports has just issued the Rules for the contest to compose new lyrics for Ca Tru singing styles in Hanoi in 2023.
Contestants are organizations and individuals who are Vietnamese living and working in Hanoi and have aspirations and abilities that are suitable for the contest rules.

Content of new lyrics for the singing styles in Ca Tru: singing with enough suffering; singing without suffering; singing with double suffering; singing with money (single and double); singing with temple back; singing with crane pillow verses (double Northern and Southern clappers).
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest format, genre of work, art form: poetic works in the spoken singing styles used in Ca Tru singing, performed in Vietnamese language and Vietnamese script.
Specifically, the entries must be printed (or scanned) on one-sided A4 paper, typed using Word, Times New Roman font, size 14; each page of the entry must have the full name and signature of the author (and co-authors, if any).
Contest entry regulations: Each author (including groups of authors and co-authors) can submit a maximum of 1 - 15 entries. Authors can choose one or more of the above formats to submit their entries.
The prize structure includes: 1 First prize worth 6 million VND; 2 Second prizes, each worth 3 million VND; 3 Third prizes, each worth 2 million VND; 10 Consolation prizes, each worth 1 million VND.
Time to receive works from now until December 15, 2023, during office hours.
