Lam Dong thoroughly grasps and implements the direction of General Secretary To Lam on the new era

On November 2, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee organized a meeting to disseminate and implement the instructions of General Secretary To Lam on the new era, the era of national development. This is the first locality in the country to proactively and widely disseminate the contents of the General Secretary's lecture.

The conference was held in person at the Provincial Party Committee hall and online at 175 points at the city party committees, district party committees, party committees directly under the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee; communes, wards and towns in the province, with more than 6,400 key officials and party members attending.

In his opening speech, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc emphasized that the direction of General Secretary To Lam on the new era, the era of national development is an important content, which the General Secretary thoroughly grasped at the training class, updating knowledge and skills for cadres planning to become members of the 14th Party Central Committee (class 3), on October 31. He requested the delegates to listen seriously, follow the lecture closely, continue to study and implement to ensure meeting the requirements set out in the province.

Along with other important contents, in this topic, General Secretary To Lam discussed 7 strategic orientations to bring the country into a new era, an era of national development, including improving the Party's leadership method; strengthening the Party's character in building and perfecting a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, for the people; streamlining the organization and apparatus for effective and efficient operation; digital transformation; anti-waste issues ; and cadres and economy.

At the conference, delegates listened to Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province, thoroughly grasp the conclusions and directions of Comrade General Secretary To Lam, Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity at the Standing Committee meeting on October 30, 2024; Election Regulations within the Party.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province Pham Thi Phuc thoroughly grasped the conclusions and directions of General Secretary To Lam on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Anh Dong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, thoroughly grasped and implemented the assessment and classification of party organizations and cadres and party members in 2024 and at the end of the 2020-2025 term.

Under the direction and guidance of Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc, delegates focused on discussing the contents that were thoroughly grasped, contributing to effectively implementing the instructions and conclusions of General Secretary To Lam on the new era, the era of national growth.

Comrade summarized, in the lecture, General Secretary To Lam affirmed that an era is a historical time point, a period of time; and an era of rising up represents a breakthrough to create a change in the country's development, in the prosperity and happiness of the people under the leadership of the Party. Currently, we are entering a new era, the era of rising up of the nation, the era of developing a rich and strong country, and the General Secretary emphasized that the implementation time point is the 14th National Party Congress in 2026.

From the topic of General Secretary To Lam, in Lam Dong, comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc thoroughly grasped the need to focus on seriously and effectively evaluating and classifying party organizations and party members. This is a very meaningful task for us to look at and re-evaluate ourselves. Each party committee must look straight at the truth, evaluate the truth correctly, not show off or chase after achievements. Breakthroughs in personnel work, focusing on 2 stages: replacing people and selecting people.

Regarding breakthroughs in socio-economic development, transport infrastructure, and key projects, the Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee requested that it is necessary to accelerate and devote all efforts to start the Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong, Da Lat - Nha Trang expressway projects... Because these are very basic conditions to promote local socio-economic development.
