Lam Dong prepares to auction 36 mineral mines, starting at 306 billion VND

(NLDO) - Lam Dong province plans to auction 36 mineral mines in February 2025 with a total starting price of more than 306 billion VND.

On January 9, according to a reporter, the People's Committees of some districts of Lam Dong province requested departments, offices and People's Committees of communes and towns in the area to post the announcement of the Lam Dong Province Property Auction Service Center at the headquarters and media about the mineral auction in the area, lasting until February 7.

According to the above announcement, the auctioned assets are the right to exploit minerals for common construction materials for 36 mining sites (22 landfill mines, 5 sand mines, 8 stone mines, 1 brick and tile clay mine) that have not been explored or assessed for reserves.

The starting price for the auction of the exploitation rights of these 36 mines is over 306.2 billion VND. These mineral mines are located in Bao Loc city, Lam Ha, Lac Duong, Duc Trong, Dam Rong, Don Duong, Di Linh, and Da Huoai districts.

Of which, the mine with the highest starting price is the construction stone mine in My Duc commune, new Da Huoai district (formerly Da Teh district) with nearly 55.7 billion VND; the land fill mine in Cat Tien town, new Da Huoai district (formerly Cat Tien district) with more than 35.6 billion VND; the construction stone mine in Lien Hiep commune, and the stone mine in Ninh Gia commune (both in Duc Trong district) have starting prices of more than 21 billion VND and 18.3 billion VND, respectively.

Bidders must deposit a total amount of more than 61 billion VND (20% of the starting price). The auction is expected to take place at 9:00 a.m. on February 20, 2025 at the Lam Dong Provincial Property Auction Service Center.
