Transaction turnover in USD converted to VND reached about 567,315 billion VND, an average of 113,463 billion VND/day, an increase of 4,866 billion VND/day.

Interbank transactions are mainly overnight.

By maturity, VND transactions mainly focus on overnight (92% of total VND transaction turnover), 1-week (3% of total VND transaction turnover), and the rest are other terms. For USD transactions, the terms with the largest turnover are overnight and 2-week, with proportions of 85% and 6% respectively.

Regarding interest rates, for transactions in VND, the average interest rate tended to fluctuate in opposite directions in some key terms compared to the previous week. Specifically, the average interest rate for overnight and 1-week terms decreased by 0.37%/year and 0.25%/year to 4.16%/year and 4.25%/year, respectively. In contrast, the average interest rate for 1-month terms increased by 0.15%/year to 4.41%/year.

For USD transactions, the average interest rate fluctuated slightly across terms, of which the average interest rate for overnight and 1-week terms increased slightly by 0.01%/year and 0.03%/year to 4.30%/year and 4.32%/year. Meanwhile, the average interest rate for 1-month terms decreased slightly by 0.01%/year to 4.43%/year.
