Recently, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung shared a video recording the process of artists practicing to prepare for Tao Quan 2025. In it, there are images of thick stacks of scripts and role assignments for each artist.

According to the cast revealed by Chi Trung, the Tao Quan 2025 program will be implemented in the form of a contest called The Road to Heaven .
The veteran artists remain the same: People's Artist Quoc Khanh still plays the role of the Jade Emperor, Meritorious Artist Quang Thang, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, artist Van Dung, and People's Artist Tu Long take turns playing the roles of Tao Xuan, Tao Ha, Tao Thu, and Tao Dong.
Next, musician Tien Minh was assigned the role of Thien Loi, Pho Thien Loi was given to Thai Duong, Anh Duc, Dung Hon.
The contestants include: Thanh Huong as Ly, Thai Son as Quy, Anh Tho as Phuong and Dung Hon as Long.
According to Dan Tri reporter's private source, People's Artist Cong Ly and People's Artist Xuan Bac will not participate in Tao Quan . This also makes many people regret.
Meritorious Artist Chi Trung said that the original script was more than 70 pages thick, but later on, the script was shortened. Screenwriter Dinh Tien Dung edited and rewrote each paragraph, so the final script was very thin.
"But those thin segments are gathered together into a good, deep script that promises to make people laugh...", Chi Trung said.
Chi Trung confided that taking on a role in Tao Quan was both an honor and a joy, but also a source of worry. Because there are many materials in life, choosing how to put them into the program appropriately, with a humorous perspective and perspective, but also a bit of criticism.
According to the crew, to have about 2 hours of airtime, the artists had to spend a long time preparing and practicing.

Artist Van Dung shared that on the appointed day and time, the artists gathered at Vietnam Television Station, ate, slept and practiced together for a whole month, and then returned home at dawn.
"Our returning generation of old artists will bring a breath of fresh air and hopefully, all the efforts we put in over the past month will be the best and most quintessential to the audience," said Van Dung.
Do Duy Nam also revealed that because he practiced Tao Quan day and night, regardless of the hardship, he admitted that his "appearance has become much more haggard".
Meritorious Artist Quang Thang added: "The Tao Quan crew's requirement is to arrive on time. Each person can choose different locations to practice such as in the room, hallway, behind the stairs... as long as it is effective."
Currently, artists are rushing to practice for the Tao Quan 2025 program. The program will be recorded on January 15-17 at the Vietnam - Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi.
