Launching the Sharing with Teachers program in 2024

This is an activity towards the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029; Deploying the "I love my Fatherland" movement of the Vietnam Youth Union; implementing the program of work of the Union and youth movement in 2024; celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20).

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, said that 2024 marks the 10-year journey of the "Sharing with Teachers" Program organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training and Thien Long Group. This year, the program will honor outstanding teachers who have been teaching at all levels in the general education system, specifically: Teachers who are working at remote schools in disadvantaged communes in Region III in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, period 2021 - 2025 according to Decision No. 861/QD-TTg dated June 4, 2021 of the Prime Minister.

After 9 times of organization, the Program has selected and honored more than 500 excellent teachers from all over the country, from highland areas to remote islands.

Also according to Permanent Vice President Nguyen Kim Quy, entering the 10th year, the Organizing Committee of the program decided to expand the number of teachers to be honored, in order to honor and encourage the spirit of teachers in many regions, working in many specific fields. The commended teachers will receive Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Medals and Savings Books worth 10 million VND.
