Leaders of the Ministry of Construction and city leaders at the groundbreaking ceremony of the social housing project

Attending the event were: Nguyen Van Sinh, Deputy Minister of Construction; Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee.

The NOXH project - OXH1 high-rise apartment building, Thuy Van Complex Phase 2, Area B - An Van Duong New Urban Area is invested by the Joint Venture of Cotana Joint Stock Company - TELIN Group Joint Stock Company with a total investment of 320 billion VND.

Social housing project on 20% land fund of Thuy Van Complex Project Phase 2, including 2 high-rise social housing blocks (OXH1) with a total of 723 apartments and low-rise social housing block (OXH2) with 361 apartments.

Up to now, the investor has started construction of 2/4 high-rise social housing blocks with a total of 364 apartments, completed and handed over apartments of XH3 building to customers, XH2 building is under construction and is expected to be completed and handed over to customers in May 2025.

To implement the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income earners and industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030" according to the Government's decision, the Provincial People's Committee (now the City People's Committee) has issued a social housing development plan, with the goal of striving to have a total of about 7,700 completed apartments by 2030. Of which, about 3,100 apartments will be completed in the period of 2021-2025 and about 4,600 apartments will be completed in the period of 2025-2030. In 2025 alone, 1,200 apartments will be invested in construction.

2/4 high-rise social housing blocks of the project with a total of 364 have been completed.

The groundbreaking of two social housing blocks XH1 and XH4 with 359 units contributes to completing the target in 2025 assigned by the Prime Minister in the decision, meeting the urgent need for social housing supply, realizing the city's housing development targets by 2030.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, requested the city's State management agencies to enhance their sense of responsibility, promptly and promptly support and create all favorable conditions in terms of policies and legal procedures for the investor consortium during the construction process.

It is recommended that the consortium of investors focus all the best human and material resources to ensure the project is completed safely, on schedule, with approved technical quality, and soon put the project into operation and use, meeting the people's demand for social housing.
