Mr. Do Cong Anh - Director of Information Center.

Answer the question why do we need to formally build this network? How did we do it before?

Mr. Cong Anh said that reporters are usually very proactive and proactive in establishing relationships, and each reporter will have his or her own network of reporters from other newspapers and close contacts in specialized units.

With specialized units, some units are very proactive, assigning leaders and specialists in charge of communication work. They prepare information and materials in advance for everything they do. They also proactively set up communication groups and provide information.

But there are also units that are not proactive, do not pay attention or care about communication work, especially communication of industry and Ministry policies. They even avoid or do not want to contact the media.

The Departments of Information and Communications are similar, some Departments are very proactive; some Departments are not interested or are interested but do not have the conditions to build connections with press agencies.

“As a result, when we want to communicate about policies or good things we do, we cannot spread them. When there is an incident, we do not know how to handle the communication incident,” said Mr. Cong Anh.

Therefore, the Director of the Information Center said that the Information and Communications Industry Communication Network was formed to: Information for communication needs to be ready and circulate smoothly in the network.

Information must be clear and easy to understand to be effective; information only spreads easily when it is a story.

Members of the network are open, sharing, empathetic and working towards the common goal of developing the industry, developing the country; solving social issues that people and businesses care about; in addition to criticism, always come with suggestions; and finally, serving the work and tasks of each member.

Emphasizing that in the current period, promoting communication about the fields of operation of the Ministry, the Information and Communications sector as well as policies and laws in the field of Information and Communications is extremely important.
