Today, January 3, the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri Town coordinated with the Lao Dong Newspaper to inaugurate the "National Flag Road" project on the roads leading to the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Relic Site. The project aims to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3 (1930 - 2024).

The “National Flag Street” in Quang Tri town is built with a length of more than 5 km, located on the routes: Ly Thai To, Phan Dinh Phung, Minh Mang, Hai Ba Trung leading to the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Relic Site. The project aims to contribute to improving the urban landscape, raising awareness, educating patriotism, national pride, responsibility and action of generations towards the construction and protection of the Fatherland.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Town People's Committee Le Phuong Bac said: "The National Flag Street" was built at the right time when the Party Committee, government and people of the town are striving to compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the great holidays of the homeland and the country. This is to encourage and motivate the cadres and people of the town to promote the heroic and revolutionary tradition to strive to build the homeland to be more and more beautiful and civilized; at the same time, promote the heroic and revolutionary tradition of the homeland".
On this occasion, the program "Scholarship to support ethnic minority and poor students" managed and operated by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper also awarded 20 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship) to poor students who have overcome difficulties in Quang Tri town.
It is known that up to now, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper has presented a total of 49,500 national flags to Quang Tri province; of which, 5,000 flags were used to implement the "National Flag Road" component in Quang Tri town.
