Inauguration of 2 commune police headquarters of Gia Lam district

The inauguration and putting into use of the police headquarters of Kieu Ky and Phu Dong communes has solved the difficulties in terms of working place, living and studying place for the police officers and soldiers of the communes, meeting the expectations of all police officers and soldiers of the communes as well as local people.

From there, it creates conditions for officers and soldiers to do well the task of ensuring security and order in the area. The project shows the attention, leadership, direction, and support of local Party committees and authorities for the police force in general, and the policy of building a regular communal police force in particular.

The structure of the project follows the standards of a model ward police station, with 3 floors, more than 10 offices and professional rooms. The total floor area is 850 m2. In addition, there are auxiliary items such as a garage, gate, fence, concrete yard, etc. After 5 months of construction, the projects have been completed and put into use.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the police headquarters of Kieu Ky and Phu Dong communes, Colonel Pham Thanh Hung emphasized: "To ensure that officers and soldiers have a place to work, live and be on duty to contribute to the successful completion of assigned tasks, in recent times, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have paid attention to leading and directing increased investment in the City Police, including in the field of basic construction.

The construction and handover of the Kieu Ky and Phu Dong Commune Police headquarters is a typical demonstration of the leadership, direction, and support of Party committees and authorities at all levels for the police force in general, and the policy of building a regular commune police force in particular."

The Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police also hopes that Gia Lam district will speed up the investment in building working headquarters for the remaining communes and towns, so that the regular commune police force can be stable, work with peace of mind, and excellently complete the task of protecting security and order, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Colonel Pham Thanh Hung - Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police Department spoke at the inauguration ceremony.

According to Colonel Pham Thanh Hung, these headquarters projects are being implemented in the spirit of Resolution 12-NQ/DUCA dated July 25, 2022 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on ensuring material facilities for the Commune and Town Police, which sets a target of striving to complete the investment and construction of barracks for 100% of the Commune and Town Police nationwide by the end of 2023. By the end of 2025, 100% of the Commune Police will have their headquarters invested in and built to meet work requirements.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Ha - Secretary of Gia Lam District Party Committee said that the Kieu Ky and Phu Dong Commune Police Headquarters are the first headquarters in Gia Lam District to complete construction investment, be accepted, and put into use as part of the Project of Gia Lam District People's Committee on improving the quality and efficiency of regular Commune Police operations in the period of 2021-2025.

The project is built on a spacious office campus. The District Party Committee, People's Committee and people of Gia Lam district believe that after being put into operation, these practical projects will contribute to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area, making Gia Lam district develop more and more.

On behalf of the officers and soldiers of Gia Lam District Police, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hau, Chief of the District Police, thanked the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City Police and the Party Committee and authorities of Gia Lam District for their attention, and affirmed that the new headquarters will increase the regularity and eliteness, creating favorable conditions for officers and soldiers to perform their tasks of ensuring and maintaining security and order in the area. At the same time, he pledged that upon receiving the new headquarters, the officers and soldiers of the Police of Kieu Ky and Phu Dong communes will operate and maintain the assigned equipment well, and excellently complete all tasks.
