According to a quick report from Hai Duong Electricity One Member Co., Ltd., by early morning of September 8, the unit had restored 19/23 110 kV stations that had problems. However, regarding the medium and low voltage grid, preliminary statistics show that over 800 poles had problems, many lines were broken; only about 20,000 customers were supplied with electricity, 649,000 customers were affected, waiting to be fixed.
By 11:00 a.m. the same day, Hai Duong Electricity had fixed the problem, supplying power to 28 pumping stations, and was expected to restore power to 70 pumping stations by 1:00 p.m. Currently, some pumping stations in Thanh Mien, Thanh Ha, Nam Sach, and Ninh Giang districts have electricity and have started pumping to drain the floodwaters.
As of 7:00 a.m. on September 8, 110 out of 154 medium-voltage lines in the province were still experiencing problems, with 5 lines and 4 110kV transformer stations without power. In addition, 206 high-voltage poles and 606 low-voltage poles were down.
Hai Duong Electricity is directing power companies and affiliated units to focus 100% of available human resources and means to urgently overcome the consequences.
With current weather and human resources conditions, on September 8, we will urgently fix the problem to supply electricity to the main systems, especially to supply electricity to 166 pumping stations that have lost power; the repair to provide electricity for people's daily life will reach about 70%.
