Discover the wild beauty of Grai Tor waterfall

(GLO)-Grai Tor Waterfall (Ia Pal Commune, Chu Se District, Gia Lai Province) is located in the Ia Pet Stream area. This is an interesting destination for those who love to explore the wild beauty in the middle of the jungle.

On the way to admire Grai Tor waterfall, Mr. Siu Suik - Head of the Front Work Committee of Ia Pet village (Ia Pal commune) said: Grai Tor waterfall is about 20 m high and is often called by another name, Ba waterfall. This waterfall has its source from Ham Rong mountain and flows through the communes of Chu Pong, Dun, Ia Pal, Kong Htok, Ayun (Chu Se district) and finally flows into Ayun Ha lake. In Ia Pal commune, due to the steep cliffs and changes in height, a waterfall is created. "The reason the waterfall is called Grai Tor is because Mr. Tor discovered this waterfall before. Previously, Ia Pet village lived near the Grai Tor waterfall area for convenience in living and farming. After 1975, following the State's policy, Ia Pet village relocated to live near National Highway 25 as it is today" - Mr. Suik expressed.

To reach this waterfall, from Highway 25, visitors must pass through the Ia Pet village gate and then follow the concrete road about 1 km through coffee plantations and rice fields. However, to see the foot of the waterfall, visitors must walk downhill along a rocky, bumpy trail. When reaching the foot of the waterfall, visitors will be impressed by the white foam pouring down from above. In addition, at the foot of the waterfall, there are rocks of all shapes and sizes and many ancient trees with large, green canopies. Especially, in sunny weather, the steam rising from the waterfall will create a shimmering, magical rainbow.
