As a place of worship for the Hung Kings - the ancestors of the Vietnamese ethnic community, Hung Temple is considered a place that fully converges the elements to develop services and tourism with unique characteristics, imbued with the national cultural identity associated with the history of building and defending the country during the Hung King era.

With its own unique and globally outstanding values, in 2020, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized Hung Temple as the Hung Temple National Tourist Area, which is a premise to continue promoting the value of cultural heritage, spreading the worship of Hung Kings associated with the development of services and tourism.

With the number of visitors and worshippers of Hung Kings from 6-8 million each year, the number of tourists visiting and attending festivals at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site accounts for about 85-90% of the total number of visitors to the province... this is an opportunity for the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site to effectively exploit service and tourism activities.

In order to attract tourists to the roots of the nation, in recent years, the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site has been invested in, built, renovated, and embellished with many construction items with a scale and architecture commensurate with the position and stature of the special National Relic Site. Service and tourism activities are invested with a system of counters and shops selling services that are reasonably arranged in areas along with a system of landscape lakes, spacious playgrounds to organize entertainment services, a system of standard rooms and restaurants, meeting the basic needs of tourists, so the number of tourists visiting, staying, and shopping at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site is increasing day by day.

Deputy Director of Hung Temple Historical Relic Site Pham Thi Hoang Oanh said: In order to effectively exploit service and tourism activities, the Relic Site has synchronously deployed many solutions, in which priority is given to selecting key groups of solutions, suitable for the new situation after the COVID-19 pandemic to attract tourists and increase revenue from tourism and service activities.

In the coming time, Hung Temple Historical Relic Site will continue to call for investment resources, socialization, joint ventures, and partnerships with business units to participate in exploiting tourism services, creating diverse tourism products and goods, with the unique appeal of the cultural characteristics of the Ancestral Land.

Organizing performance activities at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site such as Xoan singing, Chau Van singing, music nights with the colors of the Ancestral Land; organizing night tours at Hung Temple, Ancestral Land culinary fair, water music performances, traditional color performances of ethnic minorities in the mountainous areas at Mai An Tiem Lake, Mau Lake, Lac Long Quan Lake, Phu Bung Lake; building and developing community tourism models...

Strengthening tourism promotion and advertising; improving the quality of human resources are also important factors to attract tourists that the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site focuses on implementing. In addition to improving the quality of existing human resources in both management and service, the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site always focuses on training and improving foreign language proficiency to meet the needs of welcoming international delegations; opening training courses to improve professional skills in management and organization of service and tourism activities for managers; propaganda, presentation, introduction and promotion skills; communication skills, cultural behavior for officials, workers, and communities participating in service activities at the Relic Site; strengthening management work, building a friendly and safe service business environment.

With specific solutions, the effective exploitation of traditional cultural values ​​not only brings benefits to the Relic Site and local communities but also contributes to creating opportunities for Phu Tho tourism to develop strongly in the future.
