In the picture of the province's economic growth in 2023, there are 3/4 factors affecting the province's GRDP growth; analyzing the increase and decrease in contribution of each economic sector, sector II (industry and construction estimated at 8,790.6 billion VND, up 15.80%) has the highest growth contribution of 5.10% of GRDP; followed by sector III (services estimated at 8,671.2 billion VND, up 8.50%) contributing 2.89% of GRDP and sector I (agriculture, forestry, fishery estimated at 7,006.9 billion VND, up 4.57%) contributing 1.30% of GRDP. Comrade Nguyen Van Huong, Director of the General Statistics Office, said: These are the main factors affecting GRDP growth in 2023. To achieve the above results, the province has proposed many solutions in the year, exploiting the potentials and strengths of each industry and field of the above regions to create breakthroughs and promote economic growth.

Typically, in the region II group, the province has focused on directing the acceleration of renewable energy projects after the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the price framework for solar and wind power plants, putting into operation 6 transitional energy projects with a capacity of 485MW, creating new capacity of about 494 million kWh, raising the annual electricity output to 7,700 million kWh, up 11.8% over the same period (of which, solar power increased by 10.2%), creating added value of 4,381 billion VND, up 16.14%, contributing to the overall growth of 2.59% of GRDP, accounting for 60.20% of region II and accounting for 22.76% of the whole industry. Or in the region III group, the province focuses on directing breakthrough solutions in the service and tourism industries; Strengthening cooperation in promotion, advertising, improving service quality and trade and tourism promotion fairs in a number of provinces and cities across the country, especially successfully organizing the Ninh Thuan Grape - Wine Festival 2023 and receiving the UNESCO certificate recognizing the Cham pottery art on the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection, creating a spillover effect in attracting tourists, the number of tourists to the province increased. Comrade Nguyen Van Huong, Director of the General Statistics Office, said: The socio-economic situation in the province in 2024 is forecasted to face many difficulties and challenges. In order to make the highest efforts to achieve the goals and tasks of socio-economic development in 2024, the province needs to continue to closely follow the policies and guidelines of the 13th National Party Congress and the 14th Provincial Party Congress; thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the resolutions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, resolutely direct and implement the tasks according to the viewpoints, orientations and objectives and solutions set out. Especially, focus on exploiting and promoting the advantages of the industry groups with high growth impact factors of the province.
Specifically, for region I (agriculture, forestry and fishery), continue to replicate effective production models, increase the content of science and technology in the production process; transform the crop structure towards sustainability and high economic efficiency. Focus on exploiting and expanding the irrigation area, developing concentrated production of the Tan My irrigation system. Focus on linking the value chain of cows, goats and sheep with concentrated slaughterhouses. Support investors, accelerate the completion of pig farm projects. Develop seafood exploitation into a modern fishery. Develop marine aquaculture associated with tourism development, in which priority is given to deep-sea aquaculture technology. Call for attracting high-tech marine aquaculture to increase added value for the fisheries sector. Organize and effectively implement the Project to develop Ninh Thuan into a high-quality shrimp breeding center of the whole country; Support investors, speed up the completion of parent shrimp and shrimp seed production projects to put into operation.
For sector II (industry and construction), focus on developing and completing the infrastructure of industrial clusters: Support to accelerate the progress of technical infrastructure investment projects and continue to promote and attract investment in industrial clusters in the province. Take advantage of FTA tax incentives to find markets and partners; expand the export market for goods, especially for the two main products of frozen shrimp processing and cashew nuts of the locality. Implement support to remove difficulties, promote growth for the field of capacity, industrial products with a large proportion of the locality such as: Beer production, aloe vera, seafood processing, construction stone, cement... and accelerate the progress of new industrial product projects to create additional capacity for the coming year. Implement trade promotion activities to stimulate consumption, connect information and support the consumption of local products.

For region III (services), organize fairs, trade exhibitions, supply-demand connection conferences, Vietnamese goods connection programs (especially provincial specialty products, OCOP products), register for trademark protection, support businesses in promoting, introducing product exhibitions and online sales, implementing promotions, discounts, diversifying consumer stimulus programs. Promote regional linkages, cooperate in tourism development. Continue to develop the domestic tourist market, focusing on attracting the market of beach resorts, cultural and historical tourism, ecological tourism, agricultural tourism, golf tourism... Focus on tourism stimulus solutions, focusing on attracting international visitors to generate high revenue contributing to the added value of the tourism industry. The transport service sector continues to effectively exploit wharf 1A of Ca Na general port in conjunction with maximizing the amount of goods passing through the port from provinces in the South Central region. Increase the quantity and improve the quality of public passenger transport services, inter-provincial passenger and freight transport. Promote the application of information technology in transport management, to ensure traffic safety and better serve the travel needs of the people.
