Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and Head of the Organizing Committee Nguyen Minh Duc said that the Hanoi Open Club Table Tennis Tournament for Hanoi Moi Newspaper Cup was established in 2012 with the aim of creating a playground for professional and amateur players, while promoting the movement of table tennis practice in the capital as well as provinces and cities across the country.

Since then, the tournament has proven to be a prestigious playground, one of the typical examples of the socialized sports movement of the capital.

The Hanoi Open Club Table Tennis Tournament for the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Cup 2023 will take place from November 9 to 12 at Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium.

The tournament attracted more than 300 athletes from 68 units of many provinces, cities and clubs nationwide.
