On the afternoon of May 1, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City said that during the 5-day holiday (from April 27 to May 1), the total number of visitors and accommodation reached more than 336,000, an increase of 11.6% over the same period in 2023.

Of which, international visitors reached about 72,000, domestic visitors reached about 264,000. Total tourism revenue reached about 1,336 billion VND, up 12.7% over the same period in 2023.
The total number of flights to Da Nang in 5 days is about 563. On average, there are 112 flights to Da Nang every day, including 61 domestic flights and 51 international flights.

Notably, the number of tourists coming to Da Nang by train increased by more than 60% compared to the same period in 2023 with more than 16,000 arrivals. In addition, the number of tourists traveling by road, especially by self-sufficient means, also increased.
The average occupancy rate of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments is 70%. The average occupancy rate of 3 star or lower tourist accommodation establishments is 45%, mostly individual guests.
Visitors to Da Nang during this holiday, in addition to visiting tourist attractions, can also experience many activities at the beaches in Son Tra.
Tourists focus on sightseeing and experiencing major tourist areas and attractions such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Asia Park, Ngu Hanh Son scenic relic, Mikazuki..., participating in swimming and experiencing activities at Son Tra peninsula.
According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, on the occasion of April 30 this year, the work of ensuring security, safety, and serving people and tourists was well implemented. Rescue work at beaches and supporting tourists received special attention.
Tourism service businesses in the city have implemented self-inspection, ensuring service quality, complying with regulations on security, order, environmental sanitation, food safety, etc. to serve residents and tourists.
