Major General, musician Nguyen Duc Trinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association, member of the jury, commented that the two finalists combined fireworks and music very artistically and smoothly. The Italian team impressed with their performance on a symphony background. The French team used Vietnamese music as a greeting and gratitude to the host country's audience.
The two teams only had half a month to prepare for the final night with requirements such as using a fireworks list selected by the Organizing Committee and a Vietnamese song.
The organizers decided to double the prize money, with the winning team receiving $20,000 and the runner-up receiving $10,000. This year, there are also two additional prizes, "Creative" and "Most Popular" worth $3,000.
