According to PhoneArena , one of the new features of iOS 17.2 is Journal, which allows users to write daily diaries on their iPhones. Apple may also cut the collaborative playlist feature for Apple Music due to concerns about abuse and spam as previously announced.
iOS 17.2 promises to bring many interesting additions for iPhone users
iOS 17.2 also enables compatibility with the Qi2 wireless charging standard on the iPhone 13 and 14 models — a feature that allows for charging speeds of up to 15W without having to buy a more expensive MagSafe-certified charger when 15W wireless charging speeds are needed.
But more importantly, the release notes for the iOS 17.2 RC developer build indicate that iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max users will see “improved telephoto camera focus speed when shooting small objects at a distance.” Since the camera can focus on such objects faster, the quality of photos taken from a distance will improve, and taking photos will become easier.
The iOS 17.2 update also brings spatial video recording to the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, which are immersive 3D videos that make viewers feel like they’re reliving the moment while wearing the Vision Pro glasses that Apple plans to release in March 2024.
