Tien Yen District: Building a clean and strong Party

In recent times, the Tien Yen District Party Committee has always paid attention to innovating and creating leadership content and methods, proactively overcoming shortcomings and limitations to improve the quality of Party building work and the political system from the district to the grassroots level to meet the requirements of Party building in the new situation.

Tien Yen District Party Committee thoroughly grasps and implements Resolution No. 31 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.

Pay attention to every part of the work

Tien Yen District Party Committee currently has 29 branches, grassroots Party Committees, 190 Party Committees directly under the grassroots Party Committees with over 3,000 Party members. Most Party members have strong political will, good moral qualities; determination, high responsibility to the Party, exemplary, united, trust in the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and complete their tasks well.

To have a team of loyal party members, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people, political and ideological work, maintaining solidarity and unity within the Party is a concern of Tien Yen district. Party committees at all levels always focus on improving the quality and innovating party cell activities; focusing on the work of evaluating and classifying the quality of grassroots party organizations and party members; concretizing criteria in a practical direction, close to the requirements of political tasks and party building work.

The implementation of the 4th Central Resolution (12th tenure) on strengthening Party building and rectification, preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party has been carried out resolutely and effectively in Tien Yen district. Party committees and organizations at all levels have focused on leading and directing the implementation of the groups of tasks and solutions set out in the resolution, especially organizing self-criticism and criticism in a frank and serious spirit.

Along with that, the District Party Committee focused on directing the effective implementation of Resolution No. 35/2018 of the Politburo on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation. Up to now, the district level has 8 fanpages; communes and towns have 55 fanpages. The whole district also has 18 fanpages of branches, Party committees of agencies, 76 propaganda addresses of 76 villages and neighborhoods.

In particular, the Party Committee has effectively implemented Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, in conjunction with implementing regulations on setting an example for cadres and party members, gradually going into depth, becoming a regular activity of the Party organization, agency, unit and each individual. Thereby, many creative ways of doing things, many typical examples, practical actions have appeared, contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the agency, unit and locality.

Focus on building and rectifying the Party and streamlining the apparatus

The work of building the Party and the political system has been comprehensively carried out by Tien Yen district in all aspects of politics, ideology and ethics. In 2024, the district Party Committee developed 129 party members, exceeding the target by 0.85%. Arranged and completed 87 leaders and managers of departments, offices, units, unions, communes and towns. Reviewed the planning of 449 leaders under the management of the Provincial Party Committee and District Party Committee.

Tien Yen district attaches special importance to the work of inspection, supervision, party discipline, resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption, negativity, waste; strictly handling officials and party members who violate the law. In 2024, the district organized, inspected and supervised 513 times, an increase of 60 times, equal to 116.6% compared to 2023; disciplined 26 officials and party members who violated the law, and suspended party activities with 1 party member who violated the law. In particular, the district implemented transparency in the work of organizing officials; managing and using land, compensation for site clearance; managing and using the budget and public assets. In 2024, 4 inspections were carried out, proposing to recover nearly 1 billion VND, handling other economic issues of 230 million VND; reviewing and drawing lessons from 20 collectives and 58 individuals.

In particular, to streamline the apparatus and improve effectiveness and efficiency, in 2024, the district merged the Party Cell of Dong Ngu I Primary School and the Party Cell of Dong Ngu II Primary School into the Party Cell of Dong Ngu Primary School; established the Party Committee of Tien Yen Secondary and High School on the basis of merging Tien Yen Town Secondary School into Tien Yen High School into Tien Yen Secondary and High School. Recently, the district established a Party Committee and merged its affiliated agencies. Accordingly, established the Party Committee of the district Party agencies; Party Committee of the district People's Committee. Merged the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, changed to the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Tien Yen District Party Secretary Nguyen Chi Thanh said: To continue building a clean and strong Party, Tien Yen District Party Committee focuses on preparing and successfully organizing the congresses of branches, grassroots Party committees and the 26th District Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Promote Party building work, improve the quality of cadres and Party members. Continue to focus on political and ideological work, self-criticism and criticism, and strictly implement Party resolutions. At the same time, build culture in the Party and state agencies, ensuring the exemplary role of leaders. Continue to develop Party members, especially young Party members in schools and in the non-state enterprise sector. Build a team of leaders and managers with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige to meet the development requirements of the locality. Along with that, continue to innovate and arrange the organizational apparatus towards streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency. Strengthen inspection and supervision, especially in areas prone to violations. This is to promptly detect and handle violations, ensuring discipline and order within the Party.

Building a clean and strong Party has contributed to consolidating people's trust in the Party's leadership, and at the same time is the basis and driving force for the socio-economic development of Tien Yen district to have breakthrough steps, bringing the district to sustainable development in the new period, thereby completing the goal of re-establishing the town before 2027.
