Que Son district solemnly celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the homeland.

On the evening of March 26, Que Son district solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the homeland (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025). This is an important event to review the glorious feats of arms, to commemorate the heroic martyrs, comrades and compatriots who fought and sacrificed heroically on the heroic land of Que Son.

Attending the ceremony, on the Central side, there were Senior Lieutenant General Le Chiem - Former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Minister of National Defense; Major General Le Ngoc Hai - Commander of Military Region 5. On the Quang Nam province side, there were comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Van Dung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, comrades in the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; representatives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, generals, veterans, families with revolutionary contributions and a large number of people.

The speech at the ceremony was presented by Secretary of Que Son District Party Committee Dinh Nguyen Vu, reviewing the spirit of attack and uprising of the district's army and people. Que Son District was completely liberated on March 26, 1975, contributing to writing a glorious page of the nation's history, the peak of which was the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, ending the resistance war against the US to save the country, completely liberating the South, and unifying the country.

Immediately after the liberation day, Que Son district embarked on the task of socio-economic development. Up to now, the economy continues to grow rapidly and sustainably, the production value increases by an average of over 8.2% annually, the average income per capita reaches 55 million VND. Que Son is the only district in Quang Nam province with 3 towns including Dong Phu, Huong An and Trung Phuoc, which is a favorable condition for the development of trade and services. The district focuses on resolving policies for families of martyrs, war invalids, and families with meritorious services to the revolution in a timely and proper manner.

With outstanding efforts and endeavors in the 50-year journey of construction and development, the Party Committee, government and people of Que Son district have been awarded many noble prizes by the Party, the State, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Quang Nam province. These are proud achievements and a great source of encouragement for Que Son to continue to develop in the new journey.
