BPO - Today, June 23, the Dong Xoai City Labor Federation (LDLF) coordinated with the Vietnam Institute of Safety Science to conduct a safety skills training program on accident and injury prevention for union members and their children in the city.
Union members participating in the training program were provided with knowledge on how to prevent drowning, fire, and electric shock accidents by experts from the Vietnam Institute of Safety Science; how to recognize dangerous factors caused by accidents. At the same time, they were instructed on how to handle and provide first aid in the event of drowning victims and how to handle situations involving electricity and fire.
In the training program, children of Dong Xoai city union members are also instructed in basic skills to float on water, escape from fire and first aid through simulated situations with the participation of children so that children can easily understand and absorb.
Through useful sharing from the training program to equip knowledge of prevention and appropriate skills to handle situations when encountering incidents causing injuries, especially for children, gradually limit deaths caused by injuries and drowning, especially in the summer.
