According to Teknofilo , DxOMark said that the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ is currently the best smartphone for still photography ever, delivering outstanding results in all scenarios. DxOMark particularly highlighted the excellent balance between detail retention and noise reduction, accurate lens exposure, wide dynamic range and pleasing color reproduction.
Huawei continues to prove its position in mobile photography
In low light, exposures remain pleasant and details are captured at a high level. Thanks to the variable aperture that optimizes depth of field for each scene, the Mate 60 Pro+ is also a great choice for group portraits, achieving good sharpness across all subjects in the frame.
Additionally, the ability to freeze motion and minimize motion blur, along with the fast shutter response speed on the Mate 60 Pro+, makes it easy to capture decisive moments in moving scenes. Still image results are excellent not only when using the main camera, but also at most positions in the zoom range, where image texture begins to decrease.
Thanks to its excellent detail, low noise, reliable autofocus system and wide dynamic range, the Mate 60 Pro+'s ultra-wide camera is also the best DxOMark has ever tested. Mid-telephoto results are also excellent, with beautiful textures and low noise, even in low-light shots.
Mate 60 Pro+ specific scores on DxOMark
Like its high-end rivals the iPhone 15 Pro Max and Pixel 8 Pro, the Mate 60 Pro+ was tested in HDR video mode. The video stabilization is one of the best, and the overall results are excellent in most video tests, making the Mate 60 Pro+ a great choice for capturing moving images.
That said, DxOMark says the Mate 60 Pro+ still has room for improvement when it comes to video quality attributes like texture and noise compared to the best video devices.
