At around 4:00 a.m. on March 27, Phuong Mao Ward Police received a report that a subject carrying two knives broke into the house of Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, 39 years old, in Mao Doc quarter, Phuong Mao ward, Que Vo town to arrest and control Mr. Hai's daughter and take her to the balcony on the 2nd floor.

With the motto of protecting the child's absolute safety, the police force coordinated with the authorities and organizations to persistently persuade and persuade the subject, at the same time, mobilized officers and soldiers to divide into many groups to control and arrest the subject. After 4 hours of conversation and applying professional measures, at about 8:30 a.m., the police force controlled and arrested the subject Phan Van Tuan, 42 years old, in Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city, successfully rescuing the child, ensuring absolute safety.

To promptly encourage collectives and individuals with achievements, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 03 collectives and 03 individuals and awarded 11 collectives with a total amount of 140 million VND; the Chairman of the Que Vo Town People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in successfully rescuing the child who was restrained and arrested in Phuong Mao Ward.
