The new female General Director of Honda Vietnam is Ms. Sayaka Hattori, a Japanese national, born in 1975. Before Ms. Sayaka Hattori took up her position at Honda Vietnam , she had nearly three decades of experience with Honda Motor, holding many strategic roles in important markets such as Japan, China, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
Ms. Hattori started her career at Honda in 1999, working in the Human Resources department before moving to the automotive business in the South American market. From 2006 to 2012, she was a senior specialist in the motorcycle business departments in North America, where she participated in product strategy planning and distribution network expansion.

From 2012 to 2018, she held various management positions at Honda Motor Japan headquarters, including Assistant Director of the Motorcycle Sales Department. In 2018, she was transferred to China as Director of Honda Motor Investment Co., Ltd., in charge of overseeing investment and business activities in the world's most populous market.
During 2019–2023, she was the Director of Sales Division 2 of the Sales Division – the unit that manages the motorcycle and electrical products business. Most recently, from 2023 to March 2025, Ms. Sayaka Hattori served as President of Honda Philippines.
