Honda CR-V Dream Pod - a mobile "capsule hotel"

To celebrate this important milestone, Honda Europe has introduced a unique concept version called the new Honda CR-V Dream Pod 2025. This will be a vehicle designed as a mobile “capsule hotel” dedicated to adventure.

From the outside, the Honda CR-V Dream Pod SUV doesn’t attract much attention with its two-tone design and some familiar accessories like a roof rack or a Thule bike rack. However, the interior space is where many people are surprised.

Honda has equipped the luggage compartment with the EGOE Nestboard 650 system, a multifunctional module that can be opened into a double bed for two adults. When it's time to rest, users can simply pull the window blinds and a roll-up curtain behind the front seats to create a private, quiet space like a mini bedroom.

Not only that, Nestboard 650 also has a drawer with a built-in gas stove and a foldable sink, along with compartments for storing utensils such as dishes, spoons and forks and cooking utensils. Every detail is optimized to serve basic living needs during picnics.

The Honda CR-V Dream Pod also has many other valuable amenities such as a side table that can be pulled out from both sides, easy-to-clean rubber floor mats. In particular, the car is also equipped with an integrated LED reading light and a USB charging port, serving the needs of entertainment or work when needed.

Powering the car is the same powertrain as the Honda CR-V e:PHEV, combining a 2.0L petrol engine with an electric motor and a 17.7 kWh battery pack. The car can operate entirely on electricity for up to 79 km, ideal for short trips while still being environmentally friendly.

Although it is just a concept version and has no plans to commercialize, the Honda CR-V Dream Pod idea shows a new trend is forming, which is to turn the car into a comfortable living space, ready to accompany those who love a life on the move.
