More than 30m of secondary school fence suddenly collapsed

(Dan Tri) - More than 30m of fence of a secondary school in Quang Binh suddenly collapsed. Fortunately, teachers and students were off at the time of the incident.

On November 4, news from the People's Committee of Quang Xuan commune, Quang Trach district (Quang Binh), the locality is coordinating to verify the cause of the sudden collapse of the school fence in the area.

Specifically, on November 3, a fence of more than 30m long and 2.5m high at Quang Xuan Secondary School suddenly collapsed. Fortunately, the incident happened on a Sunday, when there were no students or teachers at the school.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Lam, Principal of Quang Xuan Secondary School, confirmed that the collapsed section of the fence was built about 5 years ago. The initial cause was determined to be due to the deterioration of the wall structure.

To ensure the safety of students and teachers, the school has put up warning tape around the collapsed wall area and carried out cleaning and clearing the scene.
