More than 3,000 contestants participate in the qualifying round of the Code Tour 2024 programming tournament

On June 23, Code Challenge #3 - the final qualifying round of Code Tour 2024 took place with the competition of nearly 1,000 contestants. After 3 qualifying rounds, Nguyen Dang Quan, Le Quoc Dat and Tran Xuan Bach were the 3 outstanding faces at the top of Code Challenge #1, Code Challenge #2 and Code Challenge #3. In addition, this year's qualifying round also recorded 196 contestants achieving a perfect score of 100/100 points.

The 450 best candidates of the qualifying round will continue to compete in the semi-finals on June 29. These are the candidates who participated in 2/3 rounds of the Code Challenge and achieved the best results.

Commenting on this year's competition, Mr. Nguyen Dang Tien Thanh, a member of the Code Tour 2024 committee, said: "With many changes in content and competition format, this year's competition creates an exciting competition environment, requiring creative thinking and the ability to apply algorithms and data structures. This creates opportunities for contestants to improve their knowledge, programming skills and work more effectively." The organizing committee said that in each qualifying round, the exam questions are divided into many different levels of difficulty, suitable for contestants from many levels. In general, the exam questions are all considered to be highly creative.

2024 is also the first year that Code Tour cooperates with the Vietnam Olympic Informatics Club (VNOI) to test the competition on the VNOJ online platform. "Code Tour is a useful playground for IT students in particular and the programming community in general. This cooperation with Code Tour will create useful playgrounds, helping young programmers develop their skills and passion. Competitions like Code Tour will contribute to promoting the learning and research movement in the IT field in Vietnam", shared a representative of VNOI.

2024 is also the first year that Code Tour cooperates with the Vietnam Informatics Olympic Club.

Code Tour 2024 - a tournament organized by "technology unicorn" VNG - officially kicked off on June 8. Starting as a platform providing exams and exercises to help members improve their programming thinking, Code Tour has so far recorded 8,000 contestants participating in 35 rounds of Code Challenges organized, becoming one of the largest annual programming competitions in the IT student community and young people in general.
