Mr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Kien Giang province - said that the Ha Tien Cultural - Culinary Week 2024 has many activities such as a space to introduce culture - cuisine; demonstration of a map of typical Ha Tien dishes and a contest of death anniversary trays.
Chefs and artisans painstakingly select fresh ingredients and meticulously prepare them to make many typical dishes in Ha Tien, including: bun ken, bun nham, bun xiem lo, steamed hu tieu, herring salad, sour soup with lemongrass and turmeric, grilled chicken, bok lo hong, xoi xiem and various types of steamed banana cakes, grilled cassava cakes, banh da lon, banh xoi vi...

"There are a lot of tourists coming. The above activity aims to promote the introduction of tourism potential, images and especially cuisine imbued with the cultural beauty of Ha Tien land and people to domestic and foreign tourists," said Mr. Viet Anh.

Ha Tien Cultural - Culinary Week 2024 takes place over 5 days (from June 29 to July 3) with 20 food stalls, displaying OCOP products such as Phu Quoc fish sauce, honey and handbags and hats woven by local people from sedge in Giang Thanh district (Kien Giang).
