On the morning of April 30, Ho Chi Minh City will hold a large-scale military parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. This is a rare occasion for Ho Chi Minh City to hold a large-scale military parade in the central area, with the participation of thousands of officers and soldiers of the armed forces, police, militia, and a series of special vehicles and modern motor vehicles.

According to plan, starting at 6:30 a.m. on April 30, the forces will depart from the intersection of Le Duan - Nguyen Binh Khiem streets, moving through the main stage in front of the Reunification Hall.

From here, the forces will split into four main directions, marching through many major streets of the city center and ending at assembly points at Tao Dan Park, Bach Dang Wharf, Le Van Tam Park and Hoa Lu Stadium.

Many roads are being diverted to serve the event, and many tourists and locals are scrambling to find a cafe with a nice view, located on the main parade routes, to enjoy a cup of morning coffee while watching the parade with their own eyes.

Below are suggestions for cafes along each parade route.

Direction 1

After passing the Reunification Hall, the forces of direction 1 will move along the route of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Loi - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Phu Dong Thien Vuong intersection - Cach Mang Thang 8. The forces in this direction will gather at Tao Dan park.

Located on the upper floors of the old apartment building, cafes such as Thinker & Dreamer, Buihaus, Partea... offer a panoramic view of Nguyen Hue walking street, with a wide angle to easily observe the parade.

Direction 4

After leaving the Reunification Hall, the forces in the fourth parade direction will move along Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Hai Ba Trung street and end the route at Le Van Tam Park.

Currently, reporters have not recorded any coffee shops with a truly favorable view to watch the parade on this route. However, people can still choose to stand along the sidewalk or stop by some roadside eateries and refreshment shops to watch the parade pass by.

What should people pay attention to when watching the parade?

This parade will involve a large number of armed forces and units demonstrating national strength, so security in the central area will be tightened. Crowding, climbing trees, climbing on structures or crossing barriers will not only cause disorder but also pose a potential safety risk. People must strictly follow the instructions of the authorities.

In addition, many roads will be blocked from early morning, so traveling by car or motorbike to the central area may be difficult. People should arrive early and park their vehicles in parking lots outside the restricted area and walk in.

Families with young children or the elderly should bring drinking water, hats and sun protection to avoid heatstroke as the weather at the end of April is often hot.

In a crowded crowd, keeping in touch or finding each other is not easy. People need to determine a meeting point in advance in case they get lost, and pay attention to the nearest exits in case of emergency.

Careful preparation not only helps people have a complete experience when immersing themselves in the sacred atmosphere of the important holiday, but also ensures the safety of themselves and their loved ones among the crowds pouring into the city on the morning of April 30.
