Refund reserved tickets during Covid period

During the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Railway industry had to temporarily suspend a number of passenger trains during the Lunar New Year 2021. To facilitate and protect customers' rights, the Railway industry refunded tickets or reserved tickets for customers for a period of 1 year. However, up to now, more than 4,000 customers have not completed the procedures to receive refunds, equivalent to nearly 2.2 billion VND.

Therefore, the Railway industry informs you to go to the nearest station to return the reserved ticket. The deadline is from now until October 31, 2024. After this time, the Railway industry will stop supporting the refund of reserved tickets according to regulations.

When going to the train station to complete the ticket refund procedure, you need to bring the original ticket "Refund Form" with the ticket return stamp and valid identification documents to the ticket sales offices at the railway stations to receive the refund. In case you lose the "Refund Form", the person returning the ticket must fill in the form at the train station, replacing the previous Ticket Refund Form.
