On February 2, information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said that up to now, the province's functional agencies have completed the disbursement of more than 18,200 billion VND of capital allocated for the Long Thanh International Airport Land Acquisition, Compensation, Support and Resettlement Project, reaching nearly 95% of the plan (according to the total capital allocated after adjustment).

The remaining capital of the project that has not been disbursed is about 1,000 billion VND, currently allocated for 5 component projects, including: Site clearance work; Project to build technical infrastructure system for Loc An - Binh Son resettlement area; Project to build social infrastructure system; Project to re-establish infrastructure system outside the airport; Project to train jobs, create jobs and reorganize the lives of people in the Long Thanh International Airport Project area.
The Long Thanh Airport land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement project approved by the National Assembly in 2017 has a total investment of nearly VND23,000 billion. Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee was assigned as the project investor. During the implementation process, due to the reduction of some items, the National Assembly approved the project adjustment policy with the total investment reduced to more than VND19,200 billion.
Up to now, Dong Nai province authorities have also approved resettlement for nearly 5,500 households in the Long Thanh Airport Project area, of which nearly 4,400 households have been considered eligible for resettlement and more than 1,000 households are not eligible for resettlement.
