In a private interview at Miss Grand International 2024, Vietnamese representative Vo Le Que Anh chose Miss Thailand as the beauty worthy of being crowned this year.
On October 19, a closed-door interview session within the framework of Miss Grand International 2024 gave contestants the opportunity to share their personal stories and reasons for joining the contest. Representatives from 70 countries took turns answering questions from Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, Ms. Teresa Chaivisut (President and Vice President of the contest) and the reigning Miss Luciana Fuster.
In the interview, Vo Le Que Anh shared that the motivation for participating in the competition was the enthusiastic support from the home audience, Thai and international fans.
Vo Le Que Anh answered the interview:
When asked by Mr. Nawat about Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Que Anh said Thuy Tien is the role model she has always pursued. “I admire Thuy Tien for what she has and is contributing. Thuy Tien always tries to become better every day. She has many fans domestically and internationally,” she shared.
Talking about her outstanding points compared to Miss Thuy Tien, Que Anh affirmed that she has better singing ability. “I love singing and dancing and will try to become a professional singer. I see that the entertainment market in Thailand is very developed and I hope to be crowned this year,” she confided.

Besides, when asked: " If it wasn't you, who do you think would win this year's contest? ", Que Anh chose the representative of Thailand - Malin Chara-anan.
“If given the chance, I wish every girl could win the title this year. But if I only had one choice, I would like Malin to be Miss Grand International 2024. Because we are roommates. She and I share many stories together, so I can see her personality. Malin is willing to try things that are not like her personality,” said Que Anh.
In the coming time, Que Anh and the contestants will continue to have sideline activities and careful preparation for the national costume performance (October 20), semi-finals (October 22) and finals (October 25).
