Answering a student's question about how to avoid drugs when drugs now come in many forms disguised as food, Mr. Ho Ngoc Van - an officer of the Ho Chi Minh City Police - emphasized: "We should not try, should not eat, should not drink things that we cannot control, that we cannot see the safety of.
When you suspect a food is problematic, you must refuse it immediately. Doing this can eliminate the risk of drugs disguised as food."
What should you do if drugs enter your body? According to Mr. Ho Ngoc Van, drugs are extremely toxic substances. When they enter your body, they will cause nausea and increased heart rate... "If you suspect something, immediately notify your relatives to take you to the hospital for detoxification. In an emergency, you need to vomit immediately to limit poisoning," said Mr. Van.
According to Ho Chi Minh City Police officers, when you discover drugs or drug abuse around you, you must report it to the authorities. But recently, drug reports from students have been very limited. Because they do not know what the consequences are.
Therefore, Ho Chi Minh City Police hope that in the coming time, students will be the eyes and ears of the police, joining hands with specialized forces to fight to eliminate social evils.

Sharing with the students, Miss Bao Ngoc advised them to choose positive communities, not to follow and stay away from people with bad tendencies, unhealthy lifestyles and activities such as using addictive substances, opium, drugs...
Miss Bao Ngoc also sent her thanks to the students of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, because they not only listened but also showed active interest. "I hope students remember: Drugs cannot be tried, even just once," Miss Bao Ngoc said.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Le Hong Nam - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police - said that students are always eager to learn and be creative, but are also easily tempted by negative factors outside of society, including drugs.
“Drugs entering schools in the city have become an alarming problem. Drugs affect the physical and mental health of students. Students must become an impregnable fortress against drugs,” Mr. Nam warned.
