Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong is on the list of 29 players for the 6th training session in 2023 of U23 Vietnam. This player is also known as the cousin of striker Nguyen Cong Phuong.
Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong was named in the 2024 U23 Asian qualifiers in August, but was not included in the official list by coach Troussier.
Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong was born in 2004 and grew up at the HAGL-JMG training center. After that, Mr. Duc transferred this player and the entire 4th class to the Nutifood-JMG academy. Quoc Cuong's best position is attacking midfielder or central midfielder.

Like his older brother Nguyen Cong Phuong, Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong possesses skillful techniques and flexible movement. Currently, Quoc Cuong plays for Ba Ria Vung Tau Club in the National First Division.
