Khanh Hoa strives to admit 20,000 union members in 2025

In 2024, trade unions at all levels mobilized 12,547 new members, bringing the total number of union members in the province to 95,656. At the same time, 61 new grassroots unions and 4 trade unions were established, including: Ninh Hai Sea Grape Cultivation Union, Van Ninh Agarwood Union, Nha Trang Cyclo Tourism Union and Cam Ranh Private Kindergarten Union, thereby bringing the total number of grassroots trade unions in the province to 1,525 units.

By 2025, the province strives to recruit 20,000 union members and have at least 90% of workers working in units, organizations and enterprises outside the state sector as union members; establish 100% of grassroots unions in enterprises with 20 or more employees. To achieve this goal, unions at all levels will focus on diversifying forms of gathering workers into union organizations; consolidating and improving the quality of grassroots union activities after establishment; enhancing the application of information technology in union management and activities, etc.
