(Dan Tri) - After receiving a work permit in England, coach Ruben Amorim went to Man Utd's training ground at Carrington yesterday (November 18) to conduct the first training session with his new students.
Ruben Amorim arrived in England last Monday (11/11) with his former Sporting Lisbon assistants. However, the new Man Utd coaching staff were unable to start work at Carrington immediately due to not receiving a work permit. This meant Amorim could only tour the club's facilities but not conduct training sessions.
After being granted a work permit, Amorim was present at Man Utd's training ground yesterday (November 18) to instruct his new students. Currently, with the national teams concentrating, Man Utd only has players who have not been called up and those who are recovering from injuries.
Amorim will have a week to prepare before Man Utd face Ipswich in round 12 of the 2024-25 Premier League this weekend. The young Portuguese strategist is expected to use a 3-4-3 formation, different from the 4-2-3-1 formation that Erik Ten Hag or Ruud Van Nistelrooy used before. Therefore, he will need a lot of effort to help his new students understand and operate the new tactical diagram well.
