Growing chrysanthemums is considered a traditional occupation of some households in Van Lam district (Hung Yen). Previously, chrysanthemums were grown mainly in Nghia Trai village (Tan Quang commune), then moved to Luong Tai commune because people no longer had many fields. If dried with sulfur, the price is much cheaper, about 200,000 VND/kg. It is also possible to sell fresh flowers, but the price is quite cheap, only 35,000 VND/kg to 45,000 VND/kg.
