'Helldivers 2' Confirmed for 2023 Release

According to Neowin , recently in Sony's PlayStation Showcase program, the company revealed a new category in the Helldivers game series from developer Arrowhead Game Studios. However, Helldivers 2 will have major changes compared to the original.

Instead of being a top-down shooter like the first game, Helldivers 2 will be a third-person shooter. Additionally, the ability to deal damage to teammates will be enabled by default in missions, so players will need to be careful with each shot to avoid hurting teammates, as well as trying not to get hit by their bullets.

Helldivers 2 will still retain the gameplay of the original, players will have to perform missions to defeat dangerous aliens. The game is expected to be released in late 2023 for both PlayStation 5 and PC.
